Traveling with EF

For over 55 years we've helped teachers, girl-led organizations and students discover the world through culturally immersive educational travel. We’re proud to partner with girl-led organizations to help girls go beyond their community and create life-long memories with their troop. On their tour, your girls will gain new perspectives, develop leadership skills, and return home with the confidence to change the world.  And we’re here to support you every step of the way—before, during and after your tour.


Before Tour

Partnering with their Tour Consultant, leaders find—or create—the perfect tour for their group.

After choosing a tour, it’s time to enroll travelers. Leaders build their group with the help of their knowledgeable Tour Consultant and a collection of online resources.
Whether it’s in person, on the phone or online, the EF support team is there to help you prepare to travel. Group Leaders not only have a dedicated Tour Consultant, but also an online toolkit where they can get updates on their tour, stay in touch with their group and learn what they need to know to get ready to travel. For travelers and parents, our Customer Service team and online experience make payments and account management simple and easy.

On Tour

EF handles everything from flights and hotels to meals and sightseeing, so the group can relax and focus on the tour experience. The group's personal, full-time Tour Director takes care of on-tour details and provides cultural insight and knowledge for the girls.

Everyone travels together on one tour bus and shares the same Tour Director and local guides. Groups that aren’t large enough to fill an entire bus will travel with other girl groups. After Tour

Girls will come home with heightened confidence, experiences to share with others, and a commitment to global citizenship.

High school aged girls can earn high school or college credit through EF's Personalized Learning Guide—an online learning program that starts before tour, continues during travel and culminates in a project after they return.

We also work with girl-focused organizations to build travel programs so even more girls have the opportunity to experience the world.
